ASME at Texas A&M University is a student organization dedicated to providing members invaluable learning experiences and one-of-a-kind networking encounters. In addition, TAMU ASME strives to develop leaders through our committee system and officer roles. Join us for interactive sponsor presentations, fun-filled social and service events, or just stop by our office in JCAIN 217 for engineering paper. We look forward to seeing you.
Joining TAMU ASME as a Member
Many benefits are made available through membership in TAMU ASME. Some benefits include priority to select events, new merchandise, and consideration for external opportunities such as conferences and experiences abroad. To become a member of TAMU ASME, please join online here.
For reference, membership dues are as follows:
For all students, the local membership fee is $10.
For non-freshmen students, the national chapter fee is $25 (optional)*
The total fee for most students will be about $35, but all new freshmen members will have their national dues waived for the first year.
The listed dues validate membership for 1 full calendar year from date of payment.
*Payment of national dues allows access to resources and events offered by ASME at a national level, such as a subscription to ASME's monthly Mechanical Engineering magazine.
