Attracting more than 300 students per day, the ASME Career Fair is an excellent opportunity for recruiters to find the best of the best in the mechanical engineering department. We offer company participation through several varying levels of sponsorship packages. The MEEN Career Fair provides the unique opportunity for Mechanical Engineering undergraduates to have one-on-one conversations with leading businesses with interests in recruiting MEEN specific students.

The ASME Career Fair

Sponsored by companies such as General Motors, Marathon Petroleum, and Technip FMC, the MEEN Fall Career Fair is an incredible opportunity for both recruiters and mechanical engineering students. ASME hosts career fair preparations event where officers will be available to assist members with their elevator pitches and learn more about the attending companies while hosting a raffle for baskets of ASME merchandise. About

The ASME MEEN Career Fair is a premier recruiting event for Mechanical Engineering students at Texas A&M University. The Career Fair is planned, organized, and staffed by the College of Engineering, and is available only to our Mechanical Engineering students. The career fair hosts 30 companies in the ZACH Chevron Rooms for students seeking internships, co-ops, and full-time positions.

    • 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

    • Location: Zachary Engineering Education Complex Chevron Rooms

Workshops

  • TAMU ASME will be partnering with the Career Center in preparation for the Career Fair! These workshops are to help review and improve resumes, provide interview tips, and develop your elevator pitch.

  • Do I have to be a member to attend?

    • No membership is required to enter our fair! Please bring your TAMU Student ID.

  • What is recommended to take inside?

    • A portfolio or folder with your resumes and a smile!

  • Where should I put my belongings while I am in the Career Fair?

    • We have an area for you to mark and place your backpacks as well as volunteers to keep watch over them.

  • What is the dress code?

    • The dress code is Business Professional - collared shirts are required for males.
